Lady Mikes are Heading to WPIAL Championship After a 3-0 Sweep

Congratulations to the Lady Mikes volleyball team, who are heading to their first ever WPIAL Volleyball championship following a 3-0 sweep of Greensburg Central Catholic.

The next WPIAL Championship game is this Saturday, Nov. 3rd at Fox Chapel against Bishop Canevin @ 12:00pm. Come out and support your Lady Mikes!

Powderpuff Game Rescheduled

Due to the success of the volleyball team, the senior class has rescheduled the Powderpuff Game for Wed. Nov. 7th. The game will start promptly at 7:00pm on the football field. Tickets will be sold at the gates for $5.

Senior Tailgate, Friday Oct. 26th from, 4:30-6:00pm

Senior Tailgate:
Attention all Seniors,
Carmichaels administration is sponsoring the first annual Senior Tailgate for all seniors and their parents.
Please join us on the patio in front of the middle-high school cafeteria for tailgating food (burgers, hot dogs, and sides) on Friday, October 26 starting at 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM.

Kylie Sinn and Christian Mori Advance to WPIAL Soccer Playoffs

Best of luck to Kylie Sinn, Junior, and Christian Mori, Sophomore, as their teams participate in the WPIAL Soccer Playoffs. Through a Cooperative Sponsorship, both play varsity soccer at Waynesburg Central.

Monday, October 22 - Boys Varsity Soccer v East Allegheny in Connellsville at 6:00 PM.

Wednesday, October 24 - Girls Varsity Soccer v Avonworth at a site/time to be determined.

Pittsburgh Glass Center

Sarah Cohen and Ashley McFarland from the Pittsburgh Glass Center are working with high school art students as artists-in-residence. Sarah, who specializes in glass mosaics, will work with the students to create a collaborative mosaic window to be displayed in the entrance of the high school!
