The Carmichaels Area School District has not increased the Flat Occupation Tax.  The Occupation Flat Tax is the LST tax which is split with Carmichaels Borough and Cumberland Township.  The district receives $5 dollars of the LST tax.  The minutes reflect $10 which will be corrected at the April board meeting.  The information submitted to the Department of Education reflects the correct amount of $5.  You are able to verify the Carmichael Area School District tax rates at the following link: https://apps.dced.pa.gov/munstats-public/ReportInformation2.aspx?report=EitWithCollector_Dyn_Excel&type=R

Our Kindergarten registration is March 20 from 9:30 to 11 a.m or 12:30 to 2 p.m. Your child must be 5 by Sept. 1 to enroll.

Completed applications and all necessary records are due in the elementary office by 3 p.m. on March 19th. Children must be 4 years of age by September 1 and children will be selected based on age with the oldest children being selected first.
