Christina Adams Receives George H. Block Conservation Scholarship

Congratulations to Christina Adams, Carmichaels Envirothon team member, for receiving the George H. Block Conservation Scholarship!
This $500 Scholarship will be presented on Saturday, February 9 at 1pm in front of the Bon-Ton at the Washington Crown Center Mall during the Washington County Sportsman Show.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
About the Scholarship:
George H. Block has been an Outdoor Writer walking in the woods and fields of Washington
County for the better part of a century.  His outdoor articles often touch on the subject of conservation practices and protecting the environment.  In an effort to ensure a sustained wildlife, fisheries, and natural resources legacy for future generations and encourage and empower youth to become life-long conservationists, George Block would like to award a scholarship to one of Washington or Greene County's youth high school students.
The George H. Block Conservation Scholarship was established as a non-profit organization in September 2017 and is supported entirely by donations from individuals and companies who wish to foster interest in conservation practices among the youth of Washington and Greene Counties.
Anyone wishing to donate to the Scholarship fund, please contact Mike Weber at 724-945-6707.
