* Sr. High Academic League is an academic competition in a fast answer, "quiz-bowl" format.  Carmichaels H.S. students ,grades 9 to 12,  compete with six other schools in the Tri-County Academic League at the Varsity and Jr. Varsity levels.  In addition, members of the Academic League have participated in the KDKA Hometown HighQ competition and Student Forum, an interscholastic debate club.
